Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity has posted a review of the Axiom Epic 80-800 Speaker System.  The system consists of a pair of M80v3 tower speakers, a VP180 center speaker, a pair of QS8v3 surround speakers, and a EP800v3 subwoofer.  The complete system retails for $4786.10 with the standard Black Oak or Boston Cherry vinyl veneer finish.  The version 3 speakers feature a few notable upgrades from the version 2 models including silver dust caps, a new tweeter dome, improved crossovers, and magnetic grills.  The reviewer was particularly impressed by the dynamics of the M80v3, the precision and power of the VP180, and the distortion-free deep bass from the EP800.  Anyone looking for a Reference Home Theater speaker system in the $5k price range should take a serious look at the Axiom Epic 80-800.
